It’s hard to find snacks you can take with you on the go that are cruelty free. Personally, I enjoy a vegetarian diet, meaning I do not eat any type of meat. I respect a traditional vegan diet of only eating food that has no animal products at all, but I do know how hard it can be to find tasty vegan foods. Most foods that are affordable are full of preservatives and are unhealthy. And most of them have animal products such as milk, egg or butter.
When I’m running out the door in the morning, or starving in between classes, I don’t always have enough time to prepare a meal using all natural ingredients and I am forced to pick up something convenient at a local shop.
It sucks, but what’s a broke girl to do?

These are all some of my favorite snacks, so to learn that I don’t have to feel like a monster for eating them is terrific!
